Skip Hop and Jump has been caring for Bronx children since 2013. We started as an in-home childcare program and have grown to serve families at multiple locations across the Bronx.
We are a childcare organization whose main concern is the physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth and development of the children we care for. Our goal is to enhance the traditional daycare method and add enrichment such as arts and crafts. Our program is designed to reinforce basic social, listening, independence and motor skills and to prepare children for the interactions that come next.
We are committed to inclusive education and to supporting children with different learning abilities, developmental needs and disabilities. We are more than a daycare. We are a community dedicated to helping children grow and supporting working families.

Jazmin is the Program Director at Skip Hop and Jump and oversees all four programs. She holds a doctorate and an MBA in Business Administration, plus a CDA and CPR and Health and Safety training. She is also working toward a master’s in Early Childhood Education, and she is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education.
As our Operations Manager, Thomas keeps the daily business and administrative workflows of our center running smoothly. He handles the essential behind-the-scenes details—from managing schedules and day-to-day logistics to supporting our team—so our teachers can focus entirely on the children. With his strong organizational skills and dedication to our community, he plays a key role in keeping our facility organized, efficient, and welcoming for our families every day.
Angelica cares for children at Skip Hop and Jump 2. Our home-based teams meet NYC Department of Health requirements, and our staff include CDA-credentialed professionals and team members trained in CPR and health and safety.
Evelyn cares for children at Sweet LIttle Angels Daycare. Our home-based teams meet NYC Department of Health requirements, and our staff include CDA-credentialed professionals and team members trained in CPR and health and safety.

I give this a 5 star just because the environment and the activity they do. My son is delay on speech I just hope for him that in this daycare I will see improvement of communication and certain manner to improvement. I recommend this to a friend and family.
My boys are 4 and they were a lil behind in there speech ever since they have started coming to your daycare they've been talking more my babies are saying sentences .. With over 12 years of experience in childcare and early childhood education, Jazmin directs all four Skip Hop and Jump programs. She holds a doctorate in business administration and is pursuing a master's degree in early childhood education, with a particular interest in supporting children with special needs. Her goal is a program where every family feels seen and every child has what they need to learn, play and grow.
